Narcissistic Abuse Recovery Program

Updated: Jun 12

Narcissistic abuse refers to the emotional, physical, sexual, or financial forms of abuse that a narcissist inflicts on others. This abuse can range from mild putdowns to severe, life-threatening violence.

According to Medical News Today, “Narcissistic abuse is a form of abuse stemming from narcissistic behaviors. It can be emotional, psychological, or physical. Narcissistic characteristics can include volatile behavior, lack of empathy, and aggression. Narcissistic abuse may include gaslighting, constant criticism, humiliation, and coercion.”

Whether you are currently in a relationship with a narcissist, you practice the ‘grey rock method,’ or you’re not in contact with the narcissist, you may have rollercoaster emotions. You may feel confused, hurt, emotionally dysregulated, triggered, alone, unsafe, or struggling with a common trauma response of fight, flight, freeze, or fawn.

Some of the clear signs of narcissistic abuse are listed above in this graphic image. Have you suffered any of these types of manipulation and abuse? If so, you are not alone. I've experienced it, too.

Narcissistic abuse is cited as being ‘soul murder.’ It not only breaks your heart and crushes your spirit; it’s directly linked to trauma. Rather than relive your past trauma over and over, doesn't it make more logical sense to seek safe options to recover?

After working as a Certified Trauma Recovery Coach for over 1 1/2 years, what I find intriguing is that 100% of my clients have experienced narcissistic abuse. Keeping that in mind, this is why I've created one-on-one private coaching for The Narcissistic Abuse Recovery Program. In a nutshell, it is combination of coaching and education.

Why work with me? Because I am not just a trauma-informed coach. I am a daughter of a narcissistic mother. I am a survivor of child neglect and abuse, sexual abuse, sibling abuse, and compounded trauma. I "get it" because I have been through hellish ordeals with my own dysfunctional family unit. I have risen above adversity from barely surviving to fully thriving.

In addition, I am the published author of six books, including Soul Rescue: How to Break Free from Narcissistic Abuse & Heal Trauma. I have been a YouTuber for 12+ years who discusses “hard to talk about taboo topics,” including narcissistic abuse, NPD, sexual abuse, dysfunctional family enmeshment, and betrayal trauma.

I am humbled and honored to have helped thousands of people, if not more, especially over my past five years on YouTube, Twitter, and through my book Soul Rescue. This is my passionate mission in life: Healing. Improved Health. And to inspire survivors to always hold onto hope.

The top reason why it's important for you to invest in your trauma recovery is because it's vital for you to understand what happened to you. It's essential for you to feel safe and to be safe. This goes for all of your relationships with your family, friends, co-workers, etc.

After suffering narcissistic abuse, it's normal to not trust people. You have been betrayed. Not just once or twice, but hundreds of times by the narcissist and flying monkeys.

In our private coaching sessions, we will talk about triangulation of relationships. It goes hand in hand with narcissistic abuse. Triangulation is when the narcissist brings a third party into the mix. It could be your siblings, your relatives, your children, your partner/spouse, your co-workers, friends, or even strangers. The narcissist will gossip about you, spread horrible rumors, and try to discredit you. They will accuse you of being crazy. Remember that this is how the narc tries to maintain control over you and overpower you.

After experiencing traumatic events, it's common to not feel safe. Your body may be flooded by cortisol, adrenaline, and other hormones. Rather than numb your emotions, the goal is to build awareness about potential emotions that have been repressed. To process your feelings, past abuse, and pain. As trauma export, Dr. Bessel van der Kolk states, "We feel it to heal it."

Aren't you tired of the narcissistic cycle of abuse? My friend, you are don't deserve this appalling abuse. It is not your fault. You are so worthy of healing.

Client Praise Reports

"As a mental health professional, I've worked with many other mental health professionals. Dana is the first mental health professional who hasn't gaslit me. I feel seen, heard, and supported by her. I have probably watched most of the Certified Trauma Recovery Coaches and other speakers on narcissistic abuse. I like Dana Arcuri because she keeps it real. As a survivor and Coach, she understands narcissistic abuse because she had personally experienced it. Anyone can get on YouTube and talk about things they have been through. But Dana Arcuri has taken it a step farther with her education and developing a business. She helps people through outreach/advocacy and one on one work. Dana does a great job!" ~ Katie

"I have prayed and asked God to really help me find a solution. I have really needed help. It feels like your help is what I have been praying for. Thank for your support Dana. I am truly grateful for you." ~ Mirna

"After coaching with Dana Arcuri for close to two years, I feel more tranquil, calmer, and in the present moment. I am no longer spinning like a hamster on the wheel. Instead, I'm stepping into my spiritual gifts, life purpose, and I am recovering. Dana Arcuri is professional, authentic, and compassionate. I highly recommend working with her. I am healing and I feel so happy!" ~ Elizabeth Ready to get started in coaching? Contact me on my website. I look forward to working with you!
