Afterwards, I glimpsed outside my window when something caught my eye. It was three small apples growing on an apple tree. They were partially green and not fully ripe. As I took a closer look, I sensed God speaking to me. No, I didn't hear an audible voice. Instead, it was more like a still soft voice, yet the message was very clear.
Christ is working powerfully behind the scenes to bring me to fruition. The word "fruition" means accomplishment, completion, and perfection. Just as the apples on this tree need sunshine, water, and a season to grow stronger, my own growth will take patience and special nurturing, too.
Nothing happens over night. Personal, spiritual, and business growth take time. What it truly requires is consistent steps of action practiced daily. One key is to simply believe in my goals, dreams, and deepest aspirations. To know that my passion has not happened by accident, but through God who has called me for a higher purpose.
Psalm 128:2 (NLT) says, "You will enjoy the fruit of your labor. How joyful and prosperous you will be!"
You see, God didn't create us to merely survive. He created us to thrive! We were made for abundant life. To live life to the fullest. To have vibrant health. To live rich, joyful lives where we can grow abundantly in our faith. It's ours for the taking, but it requires each one of us to step out of our comfort zones to claim it.
God is calling you to relinquish your old habits and beliefs that are holding you back from being all He called you to be. To trust that He has something bigger and better in store for you. Let go of negative thinking and start telling yourself out loud that you were made for abundant life. Speak it. Believe it. Have the courage to chase after your deepest dreams to become a reality.
If you are enduring a stormy season, don't underestimate Christ can plant you right where you are at no matter how dirty, beat up, or worthless you may feel. Rest assured, He has strategically placed you in the precise place on earth for such a time as this. Through your blood, sweat, and tears, He can spring forth a flourishing season filled with ripe fruit. Bloom where God plants you. With a willing heart, allow God to plant you right where you stand today.
