The truth is that if our dreams don't stir up fear, they're not big enough. Stretch yourself wider, longer, deeper, and higher.
When it comes right down to the root cause of what's holding us back from dreaming big, there's many variables to consider. For some, it's a matter of not believing in yourself. A little voice in the back of your mind is saying, "You will never pull this off so why bother trying?"
Others have a dozen logical excuses to prevent them from chasing after their dreams. The long list of excuses include not having enough money, skills, time, or help. Regardless of which excuse is used, I believe fear is at the root of it.
Another root cause is doubting God and thinking He will not equip you to pursue your aspirations. You may think He can work wonders in other peoples lives, just not YOUR life. False beliefs have you lacking trust in your Heavenly Father's ability to move mountains on your behalf.
From my own experience, I had to reach a point when I was willing to take a risk. To step out of my comfort zone and sincerely believe in my dreams. Once I took that first step of faith, God began working behind the scenes to prove how faithful He truly is.
Whatever God calls you to do, He will equip you to do it. Despite your limitations, insufficiencies, or lack of knowledge, nothing can hinder the Lord from fulfilling His divine calling upon your life.
It's only when we stop relying on ourselves, our strength, and our ability that God can step in and majestically work miracles. When we trust Him and prayerfully believe that anything is possible. When we allow Him to use us as a vessel to minister and bless others.
By taking a leap of faith, we're able to dream God-sized dreams and live our passionate purpose. To move beyond the ordinary into the extraordinary.
Today, I encourage you to rise above your fear and anything that may hold you back. To have courage to move forward and turn your dreams into a beautiful reality.
