When I ponder where I have been along my journey through the ups and downs of life, I now see every obstacle that crossed my path with a new perspective. What the Lord is teaching me is that there is a season for every stage in our lives, but during the hard times He will carry us through.
In Ecclesiastes 3:1-4 (KJV), it says, "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;"
Last month, I had to say goodbye to my beloved lab, Samson, who was old and had been suffering in pain with health issues. While it broke my heart and still deeply hurts, I realize that grief is a part of life. Just as one season has ended, a new one began in which my family and I adopted a beautiful two month old Shiba Inu named Maia. As you can see in her picture up above, she is simply precious!
Despite all of the chaos, losses, disappointments, and delays that occurred this year, I see God used everything, including what was meant for evil, and He graciously transformed it into something good. He took my own health concerns and brought me full circle to a brand new company in which I'm thriving as well as celebrating successful weight loss victory. He's opening up new doors of opportunity to use me to bring hope for the hopeless, strength for those who are weary, and a renewed zest for life with real solutions for people who had once felt stuck in a rut.
In addition, my upcoming book, Reinventing You! Simple Steps to Transform Your Body, Mind, & Spirit, is back on track with an expert editor who is helping me to prepare for my book launch. In anticipation, I look forward to how the Lord is going to use my book to empower women from all walks of life to transform their own lives.
Excited for what's to come, I move onward and upward to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and treasure the amazing blessings about to unfold. From my home to your home, I wish you a Very Merry Christmas, Vibrant Health, and a Happy New Year!
